As of today (May 4, 2017) I will not be renewing my core acct here... I feel like I'm wasting money.   Today's update will probably be the last too.

For the past year I've been paying for an extra for my store at #storenvy to get greater control over my coupon codes. I log into my store Friday to make a coupon code so that new followers to my fan page can get a little off their first purchase. I noticed that the extra was reverted back to the 'free' state. I go to my 'extras' page and see that it has been turned off. I turned it back on and they want more for it, I contact support and I was told that I turned it off (on the 13th), and that I have to pay the higher price. But, I didn't turn it off. Same thing happened last month, when it was turned on they gave me the regular price I had been paying.  I think it's suspicious and slightly dishonest for them to turn it off to pull me out of the 'grandfathered' rate.

I just went ahead and moved my stop back to #Etsy.  I know it'll cost way more than what I'm currently paying, but Etsy has a better marketplace and doesn't require me to use their payment source in order to participate in it.

So far I've moved all of my large art, I still need to list my Art Cards and Returned Sketch Cards.

So, I run a private group on facebook dedicated to daily sketching/drawing. Every month I put out a calendar of prompts and you draw which ever prompt inspires you the most. The point is to just draw every day, skill level doesn't matter.

Well... January 18th was A.A. Milne's Birthday also known as Winnie the Pooh Day, that day the prompt was to Draw a winter activity to include Pooh & gang.

I grew up watching winnie the pooh, back in the early 70's I had a pooh-bear, so early Winnie the Pooh holds a special place in my heart. As an adult I admire EH Shepard's original illustrations of Pooh & gang, which is more or less what I based this drawing on.

Needless to say, I was very inspired. And yet again, I feel as though this is a direction I need to explore more of.
